Alloys Park

The Colbert Alloys Park is now open year round. Available for: motor homes, RV's, campers, and tents. Alloys Park provides new and improved boat ramps free of charge, bath-house, a lighted pavilion, picnic areas and tables, hot showers, walking trails, and a pier.

Rose Trail Park

In addition to pavilion, pier and swimming beach, Colbert Rose Trail Park provides free boat ramp access with ample parking and is open year round.

Community Storm Shelters

As part of Colbert County's commitment to being 'Storm Ready' and with the aid of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) grants, the Colbert County Commission has erected Community Storm Shelters throughout Colbert County with additional, future shelters in the plan. Built of steel and reinforced concrete, these shelters are designed to provide our citizens with safe harbor during severe weather conditions in the County.

Trash Pick-Up

The Colbert County Commission is pleased to provide our White Goods Roadside Pickup service. For more information about this service and pickup schedules please call the County Household Garbage Collection Agency at (256) 383-9918.

Colbert County Farmers Market

The Colbert County Farmers Market is a place for individuals buy and sell produce in an open air setting. The Market is open June 1 thru Sept. 30 and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6:00a.m. to 12:00 noon. Months and times may change as participation or the growing season dictates.

The Market is open to private sellers only, no commercial venders. The Market is located at 706 S Raleigh Av in Sheffield, on the south side of the Towne Plaza Shopping Center.
